We're contributing to a new model of home purchase and ownership for homebuyers who fall short of qualifying for traditional mortgages.

We do so by purchasing homes outright and allowing the buyer to build up ownership equity over a 5-year lease through savings and receiving a share of the increased price of their home.

 

The idea of SuchHomes was borne out of the personal experience of one of our co-founders, a renter who found the experience of securing a mortgage very frustrating, time-consuming, inefficient and exclusionary, with very stringent and outdated mortgage requirements not designed for modern job arrangements. We pondered how many individuals have encountered a comparable scenario where their particular circumstances barred them and what it could be like for someone who earns well but lacks an extensive credit history or substantial deposits.

After several discussions and research of the current market, we resolved to come up with an alternative option to access homeownership. Since the first conversation, we have spent
countless hours working to devise another way to level the playing field towards homeownership and unlocking the growing UK housing crisis.

 

At SuchHomes, we understand the hurdles and pressures of homeownership from personal experience and have years of extensive professional experience in residential and commercial property finance and investment, and blockchain.

 

We have leveraged these experiences to provide a home purchasing model enabling those without a comprehensive credit history, first-time buyers, key workers, divorced and self-employed persons and anyone else to secure a home of their choice, stay in that home while they save towards ownership in 5 years, and sharing the capital appreciation with us.
